KARACHI: Some 140 children 90 of them girls belonging to the area of Lyari have successfully completed a 10-week course in computers (information technology) and the English language.

Organised by a Lyari-based social worker Lateef Dorai, the course was conducted by volunteers of Al Faiz Computer Institute Lyari and a civil society organization, Literate Pakistan at the Abdullah Haroon Vocational Training Centre, Khadda Market, Lyari.

The course timings were two hours a day one hour class for the IT course and another hour for English.
