KHAR: The Bajaur Agency political administration on Friday claimed to have found two bullet-riddled bodies from dif ferent areas in Salarzai tehsil, an of ficial told Dawn.

He said the bodies were found in Pashat and Thangi areas on Friday morning. He said personnel of Bajaur Levies were sent to the areas soon after receiving information from the local people about the presence of two bullet-riddled bodies there.

The official said a body identified as that of Fazalur Rehman was found along the bank of a canal in Pashat area, the main town of Salarzai tehsil, while the other body was found from mountains in Thangi area. The victim was identified as Arab Khan.

The official said that both the bodies were riddled with bullets, adding they were later handed over to relatives for burial.The official said the families did not blame anyone for the murders.

However, the official said that investigation into the killings was under way to find out the cause behind the murders.Correspondent
