GWADAR: Thirty-four police cadets, who lost their lives in a terror attack on the Quetta Police Training College, were laid to rest in different cities and towns of Makran on Wednesday.
Their bodies were sent to their native districts by authorities concerned in a C-130 plane and three helicopters on Tuesday evening.
Eighteen out 34 police cadets belonged to Turbat district, 14 to Panjgur district, and two to Gwadar.
The bodies of the victims were received by the Makran division commissioner and deputy commissioners of all the three districts.
Later, they were handed over to their families in Turbat, Panjgur and Gwadar.
Their funeral prayers were offered in their native towns and villages and hundreds of people, including government officials and heads of security forces, attended them.
