CHITTAGONG: Over 2,00,000 people from far and near in Chittagong district congregated in the picturesque valley, called Police Ground, to hear the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr Liaquat Ali Khan, declare that the Quaid-i-Azam`s death was a grievous blow to Pakistan and [although] he was physically separated from their midst, his spirit and his mission will always prevail... . ..

The Prime Minister once again stressed that if Pakistanis were able to make Pakistan an Islamic State in the true sense of the word, that would be the biggest guarantee to the minority, and to all concerned, of fair and just treatment.
