GUJRANWALA: IGP retired Capt Arif Nawaz on Tuesday formed a committee to probe the death of Gujranwala DC Sohail Ahmad Tipu.

Multan RPO Rao Idrees is the head of the inquiry committee.

The Multan RPO is due in the city today (Wednesday) and he will hold a meeting with the investigation team already constituted by CPO Ashfaq Ahmad.

The police and law enforcement agencies have failed, so far, to determine whether the DC committed suicide or he was murdered.
