CHAKWAL: A seventeenyear-old boy was gunned down in his sleep by unknown assassin (s) in Siral village located in the jurisdiction of Dhudial police station, police sources said on Monday.

Mazhar Hussain told police that he and his family were sleeping in their home when at around 10:30pm they heard the sound of gunfire from the room of his son Muzaffar. `We rushed to the room and found him lying in a pool of blood, the father told police.

He added that he did not know who killed his son.

When contacted, Investigation Officer Ali Abbas, who is in-charge of Homicide Investigation Unit, told Dawn that the victim was murdered. Correspondent
