Robbery at Ghinwa`s fuel station slammed

HYDERABAD: Pakistan Peoples PartyShaheed Bhutto (PPP-SB) Sindh leaders threatened on Monday to hold protests across the province on Aug 30 against police failure to arrest the culprits who robbed a filling station in Ratodero owned by the party`s chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto.

Party leaders Abdul Majeed Siyal, Piral Majidano advocate and others told reporters at a press conference at the local press club that they would go for the province-wide protest if the robbers, who also shot dead an employee, were not arrested immediately.

They said that Imamuddin Vesar, Liaquat Vesar and Salahuddin struck at the filling station on Aug 25 driving a motorcycle and snatched Rs150,000 and Rs35,000 cash from the manager and an employee.

They shot dead another employee Ali Hassan Umrani when he put up resistance, they said.
