SUKKUR: Two brothers, Yousuf Khan and Aki Khan, belonging to the Chachar tribe, were gunned down as soon as they were released from a jail in Kandhkot on Friday.

The B-Section police of Kandhkot said that the victims were on their way home when their rivals in an old dispute attacked them along the Indus Highway.

The assailants, from the same tribe, were riding a car, they added.

They believed that the assailants had `avenged` the murder of Murad Ali Chachar, a resident of Golimar, Kandhkot, who was killed in Sukkur some time ago.

Youth `commits suicide` A 28-year-old youth, Abdul Jabbar Lashari, allegedly committed suicide in his home located in the ADC Colony of Jacobabad on Friday. His family members claimed that he took some poisonous substance to end his life due to unknown reasons.
