LARKANA: More than 8,000 candidates who passed the Sindh Police Constable (Grade 7) test conducted by IBA Sukkur in 2024 have still not received their offer orders, leaving them jobless, waiting candidates said at a press conference on Sunday.
Candidates Abdul Qadir Abro, Aamir Ali Mirani, Juman Bhutto and Babar Ali Kandhro said they had cleared the written test and interview before a committee headed by the DIG Hyderabad, scoring more than 70 marks, yet their names along with 8,600 others were placed on a waiting list.
They said they had staged protests and lobbied lawmakers, and more than 20 meetings had been held at the Karachi CPO office, but the issue remained unresolved.
Terming Sindh Police’s fresh advertisement for 50,000 posts unjust, they urged the chief minister, IG Police and home minister to issue their offer orders before any new recruitment, warning they would widen their protest if ignored.
