RAWA LPINDI: The body of a man was found in a sack dumped in a graveyard in Khayaban-i-Sir Syed on Wednesday night, police said.

Initial police report suggested that the unidentified man, who seems to be in his 40s, was strangled.

Af ter being killed his body was stuffed in a sack by the killers and then dumped in the graveyard.

The body seems to be a week old.

Sub-Inspector Pirwadhai police station Mohammad Riaz, who is leading the investigation, said the victim was wearing a black shirt, but could not be identified.

The decomposed body was shifted to Holy Family Hospital by the Rescue 1122 staff for postmortem.
