KHUZDAR: Two people were killed and seven others injured in two road incidents near Kalat and Surab areas on Friday.

Police said a man and his son died and two women and as many children suffered injuries when their car overturned on the National Highway near Surab.

`The family coming from Panjgur was on their way to Quetta when they met with the accident,` a police officer said, adding the cause of the crash was speeding.

Police shifted the bodies and the injured to hospital.

Meanwhile, three people, among them a woman, were injured in a head-on collision between a car and motorcycle near Kalat.

Police said the car had hit the motorbike.

The injured were taken to the district hospital Kalat.
