MINGORA: Gunmen killed a man in Koz Palao area of Salchra in Matt a tehsil on Tuesday. According to Kalakot police, Mohammad Sawab, 63, was ambushed when he was returning home from his fields.

`Three men opened fire gunshots at Sawab near Gohal stream killing him instantly, SHO of Kalakot police station Ghani Rehman told reporters.

He said the police had begun a search for killers in the area but no arrests were made.

The deceased was a retired schoolteacher, while his son was part of the local village peace committee.

This is the second incident of target 1(illing in the area during the month.
