LAHORE: The government will introduce a system to monitor the performance of higher education institutions in Punjab.
This was stated by provincial minister for higher education Ali Raza Gilani while talking to reporters at the GovernmentPostgraduate Islamia College for Women, Cooper Road, on Tuesday.
He said the government had already provided a one-window facility in the higher education department to help the public.
Earlier, at a ceremony at the college, the minsitersaidthePunjabEducational Endowment Fund (PEEF) had helped intelligent and needy students continue their studies.
`It`s expected that the tot al number of PE E F beneficiaries will reach 200,000 by May this year, he added.Staff Reporter
