PESHAWAR: Commander Peshawar Corps Lt-Gen Nazir Ahmed Butt visited various areas of South Waziristan Agency on Thursday.

Inter Services Public Relations said in a statement that field commanders gave detailed briefing about the security situation, operational preparedness and improved border security measures in the area.

The statement said that the corps commander appreciated the high morale of troops and their effectiveness in denying cross-border movement.

GOC South Waziristan Maj-Gen Nauman Zakria was also present on the occasion. Bureau Report
