PARACHINAR: The government of Federal Republic of Germany has conferred honorary membership of parliament on a 21-year-old Pakistani, Kashif Kazmi.

Mr Kazmi`s grandfather Syed Yousaf Hussain had been the president of Tehreek Ittehad Qabail and a former MNA, who had rendered services for the uplift of the local people, was a member of Social Democratic Party Germany. He was also given honorary membership.

Kashif Kazmi`s father, Zamin Kazmi, told Dawn that his son proceeded to Germany 18 months ago where he took active part in politics due to which he was honoured there.

My son was pursing matters relating to agriculture, economic and energy in German parliament, he said. Kashif, he said, was very intelligent since childhood and wanted to serve his people. He said he was proud of his son and hoped that he would earn more honours for his country in future.
