KARACHI: Administrator of Karachi Saqib Ahmed Soomro said on Tuesday that with the renovation of the swimming pools in the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Sports Complex at a cost of Rs2 million the citizens would get an opportunity to take part in healthy and recreational activities.

Families and children interested in swimming would be able to enjoy swimming after getting membership of the KMC Sports Complex. Membership was open for people who could pay the fee, he said while talking to the media after inaugurating the swimming pools.

The administrator said members could swim in a better and secure environment now. Spain-imported advanced technological filter plant had been installed to keep the water in the swimming pools clean and free from germs, he said.-PPI
