A job-seeker`s plea
2017-02-05
IN 2015 the Balochistan government recruited about 4,000 teachers in the education department. To ensure merit and transparency in appointments, the help of the the National Testing Service was sought. But despite the government`s all good efforts, some lacunae in the process of induction have hindered the notifications of a large number of candidates.
I am one of those candidates who has been waiting for more than a year for their appointements. I had qualified for the post of junoir drawing master(JDM) in Union Ccouncil Manjhi Pur of Sohbatpur district.
I stood fourth in the final merit list.
Candidates who were at merit number first, second and thirdrefused tojoin because of their allocations on other positions. As a result, I was left alone in this merit list.Later on the District Recuirtment Committee (DRC) after studying my case recommended my appointment as per rules. But, sadly, no action had been taken by higher authorities. I then approached Divisional Redressel Committee (DCRC) at Nasirabad, which also endorsed my appointment. Once again I was not appointed because of bureaucratic hitches and red tapism.
I wrote several letters to the authorities concerned, but woefully no heed was paid to to resolve my grievances.
