LAHORE: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has appointed Chaudhry Munawwar Anjum as central deputy information secretary.

Chairman`s political secretary Jameel Soomro has issued a notification to the effect on Sunday.

A diehard party worker Mr Anjum is associated with the PPP for the last 44 years and has earlierworked as spokesperson to slain chairperson Benazir Bhutto and Lahore chapter`s information secretary.

Mr Soomro says the chairman has also approved appointment of MPA Hassan Murtaza as Punjab chapter`s information secretary and Barrister Aamir Hassan as deputy information secretary.

Mr Murtaza is also parliamentary leader of the par t y in Punjab Assembly.
