KHANEWAL: Two brothers died in an accident at Chak 90 Mor near Mian Channu.

A tractor-trolley hit a motorcycle while negotiating a turn as a result of which Sajid and Hanif (bikers) were injured. A team of Rescue 1122 took the two brothers to hospital were they breathed their last before they could be administered treatment.

RESCUE 1122: The rescue service in Khanewal had a meeting to review monthly progress report for October.

Dr Ejaz Anjum chaired the meeting in which District Safety Officer Faheem presented a report.

According to it, the Rescue 1122 received 44,875 calls out of which 2,572 were emergency help calls, 515 of traffic accidents, 1,564 of medical help, 53 related to crimes, 15 of fire, one of drowning and 839 miscellaneous. Officials managed to rescue 2,662 individuals and the response time of seven minutes was maintained.
