TOBA TEK SINGH: City police have registered a case under the Anti-Terrorism Act against a local prayer leader for posting hate comments on his facebook page.

Case against Maulana Hameeduddin Rizvi of Faridia Housing Colony Jamia mosque was registered under Section 9 of ATA on the complaint of Grain Market Jamia mosque prayer leader MaulanaSaadullah Ludhianvi.

DEMO: Transporters and drivers of buses and wagons staged a demonstration on Wednesday against the Regional Transport Authority staff for impounding their vehicles parked at localGeneralBusStand.

They said 15 vehicles had been impounded in just two days. RTA inspector Riaz Ahmad claimed that only those vehicles had been impounded or challanned which were parked outside the terminal bays at the bus stand.
