LAHORE: Two members of a family suffered multiple injuries after roof of their house collapsed in South Cantonment area on Thursday.

Initial reports suggested that the incident occurred owing to the dilapidated condition of the house at Saddar Bazaar where five members of a family were present.

A police of ficial said Iqra and her younger sister Ayesha got trapped when roof of the house caved in while other members of the family remained safe.

The officials of the emergency service rescued the trapped girls and shifted them to hospital where they were said to be stable.Staff Reporter
