LAHORE, Sept 8: The City District Government of Lahore (CDGL) revoked the stall licences of nine vendors on Sunday and got first information reports lodged against another three when its teams found them overcharging andselling substandard commodities in Sunday bazaars of Johar Town (Mian Plaza), Model Town, Shalimar Town, Wahdat Colony, Ghaziabad and Tajpura.

A press release says teams fined eight vendorsRs26,000. Teams compared vegetables` current prices with those of last week and found 17 items had registered a price increase and eight a prices reduction. Five fruits were also being sold at higher prices.
