INTERIOR Minister Nisar Ali Khan recently made a startling disclosure that the federal capital was not safe for women, notwithstanding the safe city project. While this candid observation drew considerable flak from certain politicians, as well as from some media, credit must be given to the interior minister for speaking the truth.
The bottom line is that it clearly shows that our political leaders who belong to the 20th century are not capable of governing in the 21st century. New and educated faces are required to change the political dynamics in place of the spent cartridges.
