KARACHI: An assistant sub-inspector of police was shot dead while he was returning home on a motorbil
ASI Abdul Rasheed, 40, was attacked by armed motorcyclists near his residence in Fageer Colony, said officials at the Mominabad police station. He sustained critical wounds and was rushed to a hospital where he died during treatment.

He was posted at the Site-B police station, the of ficials said.
