KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Sports Sardar Mohammad Bux Mahar has announced the Sindh government`s decision to organise the Thar Jeep Rally, Thar Sports Festival and sports events along the River Indus following the Sindh Special Games.

The minister shared this during his address to journalists at the inauguration of the three-day Sindh Special Games 2025 in Karachi, accompanied by Secretary Sports Abdul Aleem Lashari.

Minister Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar further stated that the Sindh Special Games would now be a permanent feature in the annual calendar.

He emphasised the government`s efforts to expand the scope of these games to all divisions of Sindh thisyear, enabling special children to showcase their talent at the international level.

The Sindh Special Games will continue for three days, featuring over 30 institutions from Karachi and more than 1,200 special children participating in various games.

The Sindh Special Games 2025 include competitions in athletics, archery, badminton, taekwondo, tennis, football and other sports.

The opening ceremony was attended by Parliamentary Secretary for Sports Saima Agha, Chief Engineer Aslam Mahar, Director Imdad Ali Abro, District East Sports Incharge Ismail Shah, and other dignitaries.
