I RESIDE in Block 8, Gulshan-i-Iqbal. My residence and atleast20 otherhouses have not had gas since 6 am on Dec 3 .
I and other affected residents lodged our first complaint at 7:45 am and since then I have contacted SSGC at 1199 numerous times but unfortunately, apart f rom hollow assurances, nothing else has been done as yet.
I contacted the SSGC again, and the representative informed me that my status showed that the issue had been resolved.
When I told him that the problem still persisted, he gave me a new complaint number -0943.
What struck me most was the casual and callous manner in which these representatives talk and hear complaints.
The last person with whom I talked at 12.45am was decidedly nonchalant in his attitude.
