KARACHI: A day after being shot by armed robbers, a young man died at a hospital on Sunday during treatment, police said.

The PIB Colony police said that Farhan Fareed, 35, and Shoaib Sardar, 37, were shot at and wounded by muggers who tried to loot them at gunpoint and opened fire when they sped away on Saturday.

Both the wounded were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where Farhan died during treatment on Sunday.

Area SHO Faisal Gul Khawaja said that a case was registered against unknown robbers and efforts were underway to trace and arrest them.
