Ayub Khan, as mentioned by the writer, was responsible for a one-sided progress in the two-wings of the country, Yayha Khan did not prevent its tragic disintegration.
Similarly, our civilian leadership is also serving its own interests at the expense of the people`s interests . Much to our regret, the people of Pakistan are bearing the brunt of this competition between the two powers of the country. Undoubtedly, the public wants nothing but relief.
What is needed is to stop the hackneyed blame-game and identify collectively the nature of the challenges.
