Medical varsities bill being tabled in PA: Sana

LAHORE: Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Thursday a bill for establishment of three medical universities would be tabled in the Punjab Assembly in its session starting from Friday (today).

Talking to the reporters at the Punjab Assembly here, the minister said medical universities would be established in Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Multan.

The provincial government had recently upgraded the public sector medical colleges in the three cities to the university status through promulgation of an ordinance.

Sanaullah further saidthe women protection and graveyard bills would also be tabled in the House in this session. He said the budget session would be held in the first week of next month.

He added that Pakistan would accept the decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Indian spy Kulbhushan Jahday. Pakistan had evidence against Yadhav, he added.

Criticising the politics of the PTI, he said the news leaksissue had been settled but Imran Khan`s dream of becoming premier could not be fulfilled.

He (Khan) wanted to create anarchy in the country to become prime minister but he failed to do so, Mr Sana said.
