LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has decided to challenge the bails granted to the accused in the murder case of party worker Haq Nawaz in the Supreme Court.
The PTI Punjab meeting at its provincial secretariat, presided over by president Ejaz Chaudhry, decided on Tuesday that the party would pursue the case of H ag Nawaz, who was shot dead during a PTI public meeting in Faisalabad. He said the PTI would ensure that the murder case reach its logical end.
The meeting rejected a joint investigation team (JIT) constituted to probe the murder case. It demanded that the JIT be constituted according to the will of relatives of Haq Nawaz and as per law.
PTI Faisalabad district president Ahmad Raheel Minhas, Haq Nawaz`s brother Atta Muhammad, Haji Rasim, Farooq Arshad and others attended the meeting.
Also, Mr Chaudhry appointed engineer Tariq ButtasconveneroftheInsaf Engineers` Forum, Punjab.
WORKSHOP: The PTI is holding a training workshop for party workers with regard to the upcoming local body elections.
The PTI Punjab president also constituted committees to serve during the workshop.
