Thieves strike at three places

ISLAMABAD: Thieves struck at three places and made off with cash and valuables, police said here on Monday.

The house of Farhan Alchter, located in G-8/2, was looted of cash and other valuables worth Rs350,000.

Gold ornaments worth Rs200,000 were stolen from the house of Naveed Wajid in F-11/4.

In another incident, the security guards of Bahria Town got hold of three robbers after they looted a beauty parlour of Rs48,000 and valuables. Their two other colleagues (robbers), however, managed to escape with the booty.

Meanwhile, the capital police arrested 33 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered fair amount of narcotics, liquor, cash, valuables, and weapons.

Police have registered separate cases against the culprits them and started investigations.
