GUJRANWALA: Two people -a gunman and a shopkeeper -were injured in a robbery in Nazampur Aroop Town on Monday.
Two gunmen came to the shop of trader Muhammad Saleem and injured him in a knife attack. His noise attracted the passersby. The gunmen reacted with firing and one bullet hit one of the gunmen.
Later, people caught both gunmen identified as Samander Khan and Sikander Khan, both of Glotian, and handed them over to police.
Police registered a case against Samandar and Sikandar.
INJURED: Two workers were injured on Monday when the roof of their factory caved in at Kangniwala.
Victims identified as Javed and Qasim were rescued by Rescue 1122 officials. They were admitted to the Gujranwala District Headquarters hospital.
Also, two men and three buffaloes were injured in shooting in village Kot Rasoolporian, Alipur Chattha, onMonday.
Ehsanullah Lumberdar, Khalid Mahmood and Allah Ditta allegedly opened fire at Ijaz Chattha and other people over an issue stemming from children`s fight.
Chattha`s son Shal(eel and Atif were injured while bullets also hit three buffaloes.
Police arrested two suspects and seized arms from them.
ARRESTED: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested on Monday four human traffickers and seized passports and documents from them.
FIA Deputy Director Khalid Anis said they arrested Mubasher and Raja Pervaiz in Kharian, Faisal Muhammad Ali in Gujrat and Imran in Gujranwala.
He said they were wanted to the agency in a dozen of human smuggling cases.
Also, a delegation of the British High Commission visited on Monday FIA offices in Gujranwala and Sambrial.
