LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr Yasmin Rashid has said Maryam Nawaz and her father Nawaz Sharif had completely ignored NA-120 for the past four years but now she was desperately visiting the constituency `to befool masses` in the next general elections.

In a statement, she said, the residents of the constituency had been living without basic facilities during the Sharif family`s rule in the country.

`Rulers are plunging the country into deep crisis just to save their corruption,` she said.

Asserting that the only remedy to save the country was fresh elections at the earliest, Dr Rashid said people across thecountry were compelled to drinl( unsafe water and added that the hospitals in Punjab were in shambles.

She said mothers were now being compelled to deliver children outside hospitals.

Stating that the country`s debt had risen to a dangerous level, she said the rulers were now afraid of returning home to face accountability courts.

CONVENTION: PTI Chairman Imran Khan is scheduled to address party`s membership convention at Aiwan-e-Iqbal on Thursday.

APML: All Pakistan Muslim League, Punjab, president Syed Humayun Sharafat has appointed Mian Adnan Farooq as party`s Lahore president.

Party`s secretary-general Nawaz All Warraich has issued a notification.
