LAHORE: Four teams were declared winners in two categories eachin the Lahore poolrounds ofthe 13th Dawn in Education Spelling Bee Competition held at Ali Institute of Education here on Wednesday.

In the nine to 11 year of age category, teams from Garrison Academy Junior, Sarwar Shaheed Campus, Lahore Cantt; Garrison Junior Academy, Sarwar Road, Lahore Cantt; Lacas Girls Branch, Burki Campus, Lahore; and Bloomfield Hall School, Gulberg, Lahore; won the contest among 44 participating teams.

In the 12 to 14 years group, DHA Senior School (girls), Lahore; Lahore Grammar School, Senior Branch, Ghalib Market, Gulberg III, Lahore; Angels School System for Girls, Daska, Sialkot; and Army Public School and College, Mehfooz Shaheed Garrison, Lahore; were declared win-ners from among 44 teams.

The winners will now compete in the Lahore regional final round to be held on Oct 28.The competition is being organised by The Dawn Media Group and judges are provided by the Oxford University Press.
