TAXILA: Police on Saturday arrested four robbers wanted in Rs5.50 milhon robbery and recovered the money and weapons utili sed in dif ferent crimes.
SP Potohar division Rana Abdul Wahab addressing a press conference at Wah Saddar police station said the robbers had robbed a man of Rs5.50 million in cash at gunpoint in New City area.
He said a team of police led by SDPO Taxila circle Waqas Khan through human intelligence and utilising digital technology traced the robbers and arrested all its members.
He said during interrogation the gang also confessed to having been involved in a number of robberies and street crimes in Taxila and Wah.
Mr Wahab said the suspects had also been arrested in robbery cases in the past.
