Plea for Sobho’s treatment abroad

THE great writer of revolutionary stories in Sindhi language and one of the founder members of the Communist Party of Pakistan in 1948, Comrade Sobho Giyanchandani is nowadays seriously ill.

He is suffering from a serious attack of asthma and is confined to bed. The medical facilities available in Larkana are insufficient for treatment of Comrade Sobho and, therefore, he needs to be sent immediately to London for required medical treatment. Comrade Sobho’s role in the restoration of democracy in Pakistan could not be ignored. The government should take immediate steps about the medical treatment of Comrade Sobho.
