LAHORE: The PPP has warned Evacuee Trust Property Board Chairman Saddiqu1 Farooq to refrain from sacking employeeshired during the last PPP regime.

PPP`s Lahore President Samina Ghurl(i said here on Wednesday that whenever the PML-N came to power it tried to sack the employees hired during the PPP tenures.

She said the ETPB chairman was bent upon sacking hundreds of poor employees which the PPP would not allow to happen.

`We will not allow the PML-N government to sack the employees hired in the last PPP tenure. The PML-N government should create more job opportunities instead of snatching jobs from the people,` she said.

An employee of the ETPB said the chairman seemed to be given a task to sack the employees in order to replace them with PML-N workers.

He said the board management had no legal justification to fire such a huge number of employees.
