AN anti-terrorism court has acquitted Mustafa Kanju and his four guards of the charged of murdering of Zain, a 12-year-old orphan, owing to lack of evidence. All witnesses who had earlier identified him as the 1(iller backtracked later on.
Zain`s uncle also failed to identify Kanju notwithstanding the fact that earlier he had identified and accused him of killing Zain.
The prosecution also failed to bring the perpetrators to justice.
The issue is not the acquittal of the suspected killers; the burning question is: who on earth killed Zain? I think, he killed himself. This is what emerged from the case inwardly.
