Three of a family killed in car-bus collision

TOBA TEK SINGH: Three members of a family died and two others were injured critically when a car collided headon with a bus on KamaliaChichawatni road on Tuesday.
Rescue 1122 reported that a wedding procession was on its way to Chichawatni from Pirmahal`s village Chak 665/6 GB. Due to overspeeding, a car hit a bus coming from the opposite direction near Chadhar police post. All five car passengers, including Ghulam Sarwar, his brother Abdul Majeed, Ageel Arshad, his brother Adeel Arshad and their mother Nasreen Bibi, were seriously injured.
Rescue 1122 ambulances shif ted the injured to Kamalia THQ Hospital, but Sarwar, Majeed and Ageel died, while Adeel and his mother Nasreen were referred to DHQ hospital from where both were shif ted to Faisalabad Allied Hospital.
The bus driver ran awayaf ter the accident however police impounde d hi s bus.
DACOITS INJURED: Two suspected dacoits were injured seriously when their third accomplice fired at the villagers who had overpowered them during a dacoity bid.
Muhammad Aslam of Chak 245-GB Talvandi and his friends, Zahid Bashir and Wasim Akram, were travelling to the village on a motorcycle from a farmhouse when three suspects intercepted them at gunpoint. The men offered resistance and caught one of the suspects.
A second suspect attempted to get him freed while the third fired at the men that mistakenly hit his own accomplices. The third suspect fled from the scene after snatching the villagers` motorcycle.
Later, police shif ted the injured suspect to Gojra THQ Hospital. They were identified as Muhammad Javed of Mankera (Bhakkar) and Muhammad Bashir of Chak 285-GB. Police were conducting raids to arrest the third accomplice.
