CHINIOT: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Tuesday announced various development schemes worth Rs10 billion for Chiniot.
The chief minister took briefing from of ficials and also held a meeting with public representatives and office-bearers of the PTIatthe resthouse.
He announced development projects and said 45km f arm to market roads would be constructed in Lalian tehsil at a cost of Rs431.7 million while five other roads would be constructed under the Rural Accessibility Program.He announced Rs500 million for construction of 250-bed DHQ hospital and Rs30 million for establishment of T HQ hospital at Bhowana tehsil.
The construction of dual carriageway Chiniot-Faisalabad-Sargodha highway will cost Rs5 billion and it will be constructed under the Public Private Partnership mode. The Police Lines building will also be constructed.
The chief minister promised work on rehabilitation of Chiniot-Pindi Bhattian Road,establishmentof media andlawyers` colonies, and establishment of cardiac ward at the DHQ hospital.
He criticised the opposition and said the PDM balloon had burst and they were nomore in position to harm his government.
On the complaints of some citizens about corruption, he ordered suspension of Tehsildar Nadeem Khwaja and Deputy Accounts Of ficer Arshad Ghumman saying there is no room for corruption under his administration.
SARGODHA: It is our utmost effort and desire to ensure implementation of public welfare projects in compliance with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, said the chief minister.
He announced 45 developments schemes worth Rs12 billion for Sargodha. He laid foundation of four projects of construction of Deputy Commissioner Complex, Rural Accessibility Programme Phase II,Panahgah and construction of BS block at Ambala Muslim College.
He also inaugurated six projects including 52-kilometre road from farm to market under RAP Phase I and Sargodha Botanical Garden besides Miyawaki forest under the supervision of the PHA.
The chief minister planted a sapling at Circuit House and started campaign of Miyawaki forest.
The chief minister also visited a Covid vaccination centre and reviewed the arrangements. Officials of the health department allegedly misguided him and did not allow anyone to apprise him of inadequate arrangements for the visitors.
