KARACHI:OpenerUmair Tariq stole limelight with a brilliant unbeaten innings of 90 as Nixor College trounced The Lyceum School by eight wickets in the opening fixture of the fifth Bilal Bhaty Inter-school/collegiate T20 cricket tournament here on Wednesday.
After opting to bat first at the Al Nadi Al Burhani Ground, The Lyceum School posted 166-6 with skipper Uzaifa Mahmood scoring 46 off 29 balls with the help of three sixes and as many boundaries.
Nixor College, in reply, raced to victory reaching 168-2 in 18.4 overs. Lefthander Umair led the charge by striking 14 boundaries in his man-of-the-match knock from only 59 balls.
