ISLAMABAD: Apropos a report published in the Dec 22 issue of Dawn under the headline `Bureaucrat facing Rs40bn corruption charge cleared`, the National Accountability Bureau has disputed the figure of corruption committed by former finance secretary of the Balochistan government Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani.
According to the NAB prosecutor general, the amount in question is Rs 2 billion, and not Rs 40bn, the sum mentioned in the report.
