It is recommended to start a new `parallel car-showroom market` on the Superhighway, without disrupting the present market. Gradually the car market will shif t to the new one.
Car showrooms are mostly located in the midst of residential areas in Saddar,PECHS, Haidery, Jamshed Town, and Nazimabad, creating traf fic congestion.
Showroom cars are placed on roads and footpaths and in lanes and bye-lanes for washing, polishing, denting, painting, repairing and overnightparking.These showrooms are a great nuisance to people.
The traf fic congestion can be greatly reduced if the government starts a parallel car showroom market on Superhighway.
A large unutilised plot of land can be rentedto thoseinthecarbusiness.
