THE main cause of electricity shortage in the countryislack ofconsistentplanning and implementation over decades. The demand for electricity has been exceeding day by day but production has been decreasing. The ultimate solution is training innovative engineers and entrepreneurs who can develop methods to generate electricity to rescue Pakistan.
The electricity crisis is not an issue of resources; it is our strategies and policies promoting bookish knowledge which havelanded the country in this mess.
Our universities do not provide groundbreaking state-of-the-art curricula to train electrical engineers. We have to address this issue to provide Pakistan with ample and cheap electricity.
