QUETTA: Members of the Hurmat-i-Niswan Foundation and civil society of Balochistan on Monday staged a rally in protest against the killing of two Hazara siblings in the Spini Road area on Sunday.

Assailants shot dead the brother and sister when they were travelling on a motorcycle from Hazara Town to the Marriabad area.

Addressing the rally, Mohammad Ali Hazara, Hameeda Noor, Hameeda Ali Hazara and Sana Durrani condemned the murder and described the crime as an act against humanity.

They regretted that attacks on the Hazara community were on the rise again, saying that killing of women was against Pushtun and Baloch traditions.

The protesters urged the government to take appropriate measures to avoid such incidents in future.
