Eateries, food outlets sealed over hygiene

LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority on Monday sealed many food outlets and eateries in the provincial capital for not maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
A special team of the PFA, headed by its Director (Operations) Ayesha Mumtaz, sealed Mustafa Hotel and Green Chili Restaurant and imposed fine on Tandoori Nights` Restaurant in Johar Town and on Sundar-Raiwind Road over hygiene issues.
A PFA team from Ravi Town sealed Abdullah Nan Tikki Shop and imposed fine on Taari Milk Shop, Lady Wellingdon Hospital`s canteen and Bashir Nan Tikki Shop in the areas of Taxali, Sheesha Moti Bazaar, Yadgar Chowk and Said Mitha Bazaar.
Nishtar Town team sealed Tariq Milk Shop, Ali Sweets and Ali Pan Shop in the areaof Chungi Amar Sadhu while the Gulberg Town PFA officials sealed Mashaallah Milk Shop, Sunny Pan Shop and Mian-Jee Milk Shop and imposed fine on Nando`s Restaurant in Kot Lakhpat and Mehmood Kasuri Road areas.
Shalimar and Data Ganj Bakhsh town teams sealed Awan Juice Corner and Intezar Kulfi and Laddu Pethi, Regal Haleem Corner, Yadain Samosa Corner and imposed fine Chaman Ice Cream, Hailey College`s canteen in the areas of Baghbanpura, Swami Nagar, Regal, Bedian Road and Civil Lines area.
Wagah and Aziz Bhatti towns teams sealed Shabbir Chanay and imposed fine on Haji Chargha in Rizwan Garden and on the Zarar Shaheed Road.
Officials in Samanabad town imposed fine on Zeeshan Frozen Food, Pizza Palace and Cakes and Bakes in the areas of Bund Road, Iqbal Town and Samanabad.
