Two arrested, shampoo factory sealed in Shangla

SHANGLA: The tehsil administration, Bisham, has sealed a factory for making substandard shampoo and hair oil and arrested two persons.

A statement issued by the administration said that on the directives of assistant commissioner Khuram Rehman the police raided a hotel where the illegal manufacturing company was established.

It said that the two men were involved in making shampoo and oil containing chemicals, which were hazardous to human health. During the raid, the men failed to produce legal documents for the business.

According to the statement, the suspects were identified as Aamir Munir and Mohammad Nadeem of Okara district of Punjab. The police have registered cases against them.

SECURITY PLAN: The district police have devised a security plan for the upcoming antipolio campaign commencing next week.

In this regard, district police officer Malak Ihjaz Khan chaired a meeting at his office on Wednesday and said that a security plan had been finalised in order to conduct the anti-polio campaign in a peaceful manner.

According to a statement, 859 teams would take part in the campaign across the district. It said that of the 487 areas 32 were declared most sensitive and 340 sensitive.

It was decided that three police personnel would perform duty with each team in the most sensitive areas and two constables with each team in other areas. Similarly, the police mobile would also be on duty during the campaign days to deal with any untoward incident. Correspondent
