LAHORE, Nov 13: The district administration during its on-going drive against profiteering and hoarding imposed fine on various super stores in the city on Wednesday.

A special team headed by Cantonment Assistant Commissioner Nabila Irfan conducted raid on a shopping mall at the Fortress Stadium and imposed Rs150,000 finefor selling vegetables at higher rate.

Meanwhile, another team headed by District Officer (Monitoring) Amin Akbar inspected the prices at various shopping malls on Ravi Road and in the DHA.

The manager of a Ravi Road store was arrested, besides imposition of Rs50,000 fine for profiteering. APP
