WE all have occasion to travel, whether due to the nature of our job or on family holidays, it is prudent to draw up a checklist of essential items one should carry on their person while travelling.
Items on the checklist should include a spare mobile and alternate network SIM card; mobile charger; power bank for charging electronic devices; universal AC/ DC adapter; wallet with at least Rs1020,000 spare (don`t rely on ATMs), original CNICs and photocopies, company ID card, medical insurance card, ATM card (ideally two, from dif ferent banks) and blank cheque leaves; small torch; pen and writing pad; essential toiletries; and a bottle of water, all carried in a small travelling bag.
