Inflated power bills

THIS refers to Khwajah Asif`s interview on the electricity issue. He said mobile meter readinghad broughtin billingaccuracyup to 90pc. This may happen in a utopian world.

Contrary to this, I received a bill of Rs13,000. My customer ID is 4101878. Last year,Iasked Lesco to rectify thisfaultin my meter. But instead of resolving the issue, I was fined for unknown reasons.

I visited the Lesco office but was frustrated by the apathetic behaviour of the staff. I wonder how will I be able to pay the bill or will I ever be able to use electricity because paying that amount is not possible.

I am being punished for an offence which is, in fact, committed by Lesco staff.

The authorities concerned should resolve this issue.
